More and more buyers prefer FSC certified wood products (log, timber/plank, plywood, film faced plywood, furniture and so on) . Though the prices of FSC Certified Wood Products are about 50%~100% more expensive than non-FSC Certified Wood Products .

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an independent, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests .

FSC products are all carrying FSC labels , which mean the wood are from well managed, sustainable forests . However, non-FSC products do not mean the wood are from illegal wood . Non-FSC products may be legal wood but not certified by FSC .

In China, more and more companies have become FSC certified . FSC products in China are increasing in quantity .

A lot of countries started to manage their forests well . In these countries ( such as China, Malaysia, Indonesia and so on) , nobody is allowed to cut forests without obtaining permission from government according to laws .
