Guobiao standards or GB standards are the Chinese national standards issued by the Standardization Administration of China, the Chinese National Committee of the ISO and IEC. GB stands for Guobiao, the Chinese Pinyin for national standard. Mandatory standards are prefixed “GB”. Recommended standards are prefixed “GB/T”.
