The grade & quality of hardwood/Birch cores:
1. AA grade hardwood/birch core-the best grade
a. core veneers: better whole piece core veneers(the size of the hardwood core veneers is 84X127CM, the size of the birch core veneers is 87X130CM) scarf jointed by machine(the scarf joint is glued and hot pressed)
b. core will be hot pressed for 1 or 2 times
c. core is very flat
d. thickness tolerance of the core is small
e. The core of this grade is usually used for very good quality plywood such as B/BB , BB/CC grade plywood .
f. AA grade core is much more expensive than A+ grade core .
2. A+ grade hardwood/birch core
a. core veneers: better whole piece core veneers(the size of the hardwood core veneers is 84X127CM, the size of the birch core veneers is 87X130CM)
b. core will be hot pressed for 2 times
c. core is very flat
d. thickness tolerance of the core is small
e. The core of this grade is usually used for very good quality plywood such as B/BB , BB/CC grade plywood
3. A grade hardwood/birch core
a. core veneers: ordinary whole piece core veneers(the size of the hardwood core veneers is 84X127CM, the size of the birch core veneers is 87X130CM)
b. core will be hot pressed for 1 time
c. core is flat
d. thickness tolerance of the core is small , too but a little bigger than A+ grade
e. The core of this grade is usually used for good quality plywood such as B/BB , BB/CC grade plywood . Most of EU, US, Canadaian customers require the core of this grade .
