Antislip Phenolic plywood, also known as mesh ply, hex ply, resin ply and buffalo board is a plywood coated in a phenolic resin to make it waterproof. It generally has a non-slip surface on one face but can also be supplied as smooth both sides. It is most commonly used as flooring in trailers, trucks, vans or horse boxes, decking for narrow boats or planks for scaffold towers but has many other uses.
