Sheathing serves several purposes: It protects against the elements, provides a foundation for materials like roofing, siding, and flooring, and fortifies the structure against internal and external forces. There are several different types of sheathing: exterior wall, floor, and roof.
Plywood sheathing is made from cross-laminated wood sheets Plywood sheathing is durable and strong. Roof sheathing provides lateral support to the roof frame. It transfers forces down the rafters and trusses and helps distribute weight evenly across the entire roof to prevent it from sagging or bowing. Roof sheathing also acts as a foundation for shingles and helps to stop leaks.

CDX plywood is used under shingles and roofing felt, on walls (just behind the siding and insulation). CDX refers to the grade of the sheet, one side is "C" while other Is "D" meaning it will have imperfections and knots visible with football shaped plugs. "X" refers to the glue used which is stronger and may be exposed to weathering for short periods during repairs.
Quality Control
We have 15 QC teams to inspection such as moisture control, glue inspection both before production and after production, material grade selection, pressing checking, and thickness checking.
