Film faced plywood is exterior plywood manufactured for concrete shuttering and forming. Chinese film faced plywood is intensively used by the formwork industry.
The panels are made with quality grade veneers with WBP bond which can withstand weather and long time water boiling. Both sides of the panel are coated with a phenolic film overlay and the edges are sealed with waterproof paint.

Glue Types
WBP Melamine Melamine fortified urea-formaldehyde glue is a very strong adhesive with waterproof capability. Film faced plywood made with melamine glue can withstand 6-10 hours of water boiling without delamination. WBP melamine is also called B-bond. | WBP Phenolic Phenolic is the best glue for formwork plywood. It is a permanent bond that can bond the veneers permanently and strongly. Phenolic is also called A-bond for its great performance. It can pass 48-72 hours boil test. |
