Core Layers (Veneers)
Made from poplar, eucalyptus, birch, or combi wood.
Veneers are cross-laminated (each layer placed at right angles to the previous one) to improve dimensional stability and load-bearing capacity.
The number of layers varies depending on thickness (e.g., 7–13 plies for 9–25mm panels).
Adhesive Bonding
Veneers are bonded with high-performance resin adhesives such as MR, WBP, or phenolic glue.
Phenolic glue provides the highest resistance to moisture, heat, and repeated concrete casting.
Surface Film Overlay
Both sides are covered with phenolic resin-impregnated film (commonly black or brown).
Film density ranges from 120g to 220g/m², providing a smooth, non-stick surface that ensures a clean concrete finish.
This layer also protects the plywood from abrasion, water, and chemical exposure.
Edges
All edges are sealed with waterproof acrylic paint to prevent moisture penetration and extend service life.
Edge sealing also reduces the risk of delamination during repeated use.
