1. What Is Plywood Concrete Formwork?

Plywood: Specially engineered panels (often coated with phenolic resin) that act as molds.

Concrete: The liquid mixture of cement, water, sand, and aggregate that is poured into the plywood forms.

Formwork: The temporary structure (plywood + supports) that holds wet concrete in place until it cures.

2. How It Works

Assembly: Plywood panels are cut to size and secured with braces, ties, or frames.

Pouring: Wet concrete is poured into the plywood mold.

Curing: The concrete sets and gains strength (usually 24–48 hours).

Demolding: The plywood formwork is removed, leaving a smooth, finished concrete surface.
